Okay, have we officially worked this thing to death?
Everybody and his dog has a video on YouTube of their kid, their cat, their cheer squad or their grandma doing the dance routine from "All the Single Ladies". Speaking of Grandma, here's Aussie housewife turned international super star, Dame Edna Everidge doing her rendition of the Beyonce hit in her Broadway show.
Honestly, I love Barry Humphries doing Dame Edna, but watching this clip, I was afraid she's have a coronary or fall and break a hip. Can we officially stop doing these parodies now?
Fortunately for Dame Edna, the self-proclaimed "simple haus frau", with those beefy back up dancers around, she won't need to get a Life Alert.

New Wave Wednesday: "Love is a Battlefield", Pat Benatar (Video)
Okay, I'm not really sure if this one qualifies as New Wave, Punk or Pop, but in 1983, Pat Benatar's "Love is a Battlefield" expressed the anger and frustration of America's youth. Given the stupidity expressed by Virginia's voters yesterday, I'm fighting mad. We're fighting for the right to love. This one just felt right this morning.

Poll shows greater support for domestic partnerships in Wash. State (video)
From On Top:
Proponents of a gay-inclusive domestic partnership law in Washington State have carved out a 17 point lead against an effort to repeal the law, a new poll finds. The Greenberg Quinlan Rosner (GQR) poll of 500 likely voters found 53% of respondents support the law and 36% oppose it, with the remainder undecided.
Opponents of the “everything but marriage” law approved by lawmakers in the spring collected 138,000 signatures to put the law up for a vote.
But with five days to Election Day, proponents of Referendum 71 are not taking anything for granted. They say the voter demographic of an off-year election does not favor them.
“[We know] that in an off-year election, older, more conservative voters turn out in greater numbers,” Washington Families Standing Together Chairwoman Anne Levinson said in a statement.
Support for the gay partner law has increased since the same firm released its last results. In September, the measure lead 51 to 44 percent.
If approved, Referendum 71 would extend a 2007 domestic partnership law for a second time, granting gay and lesbian couples all the remaining state-provided rights, benefits and responsibilities of marriage.
Opponents, however, have a steep incline to overcome; poll numbers aside, they've managed to raise only a fraction of the money proponents have amassed. Washington Families says it has raised $780,000 to keep the law, while donations to Protect Marriage, whose members favor repeal, total $60,000.
Protect Marriage says the domestic partnership law is unlawful because it violates a 1998 gay marriage ban approved by legislators and ruled constitutional by the state's Supreme Court.

Video: Who knew high school as so Gay?
It's the gayest show on TV and you won't find it on Logo, Bravo, Lifetime or even the Style Network.
TV shows about high school life are nothing new. In the 70's "Welcome Back Kotter" launched the career of JohnTravolta, In the 80's "Saved By the Bell" launched the careers of everyone but that Screech guy.
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" kicked some vamp ass in the 90's at Sunnydale High and gave us Sarah Michelle Geller, David Boreanaz ("Bones") and "How I met Your Mom" star, Alison Hannigan. .
The genre has been done to death, but the networks keep going back to it with a newer, hipper spin. You can have your "90210" and your "Gossip Girl". For me it's all about "Glee", where the stars are the nerdy kids just trying to survive the day without getting stuffed into a locker. It's kind of what I went through except for the over the top musical numbers.
Yes, the "High School Musical" franchise refuses to die and I will make it a point to miss the remake of "Fame" because the original was just too good (the movie, not the TV show turned touring stage show).
So why do I love, love, LOVE the new Fox show, "Glee"? You tell me:
