Paco and Rorik discuss (with some grownup language) Paco's upcoming date with daddy bear Felix Cadbury, while Sticky (in his boy clothes) tries desperately to get the time of day from Paco.

Jeremy Rizza writes: "As you can see, Sticky finally vanquished that sinus infection that had caused his nose to swell up for nearly two years.  Good for you, Sticky! Just don’t expect Paco to give you the time of day because he’s only into bears."

"Starting this week I’m making some big updates to the site.  The biggest is that I’ve replaced all of the three-strip pages with individual strip pages, and I’ve added all fifteen of the 'print exclusive' monthly strips that (with one exception) were never seen on the web before."

Viking Zombie Boyfriend, By Jeremy Rizza (10-27-10)

Alexandru continues his nocturnal vampiric lurking. Actually he's more of a Peeping Tom who likes to spy on his friends, but that's more pervy than saying you're a vampire. This time he stop by Dill and Rorik's place.

Jeremy Rizza writes: 

"Just now realized that I drew Rorik without his helmet.  I guess when he gets naked, he gets naked ALL THE WAY."

"As for Alexandru, our wannabe sybarite has once again proved himself a complete and utter failure, which weirdly helps him to be sympathetic. I’m glad I finally landed on a way to write the li’l fucker.  He’s the Charlie Brown of vampires! (And he provides his own narration, like Snoopy’s World War I flying ace.)"

Has the internet replaced good old fashioned cruising at the local gay bar? This week Rorik and his work buddy Paco talk about getting back to basics.

Jeremy Rizza writes: "This week starts a BIG Paco story! This year is about getting shy, self-conscious Paco to socialize more, and Rorik is gonna help him do that... Viking style!"

In case you haven't noticed by now, "Viking Zombie Boyfriend" is not your daddy's Sunday Funnies. VZB is a web comic created for adults and talks about adult themes using adult language. Keep that in mind before you pull it up at work. If you find any of the content offensive, well, that's your business. 

On a personal note, a big shout out to my buddy, VZB creator, Jeremy Rizza and his partner Chris, who got engaged over the July 4th weekend. They are such a cute couple. The happy bear pair are planning a ceremony for some time next year in the historic old movie theater where Chris works. Congratulations, guys!

Previously in “Viking Zombie Boyfriend”, Rorik has been hanging out with the insanely sweet and cheerful ogre, Kagami (off panel).  In a vain attempt at saving his “street cred,” Rorik has denied being Kagami’s friend to Dill, who pushed Rorik into the friendship to begin with.  As punishment for Dill’s relentless teasing on the subject, Rorik has been withholding both sex AND cake.

At last! The Return of "Viking Zombie Boyfriend", by Jeremy Rizza

Yay! After two weeks of clean-up in the aftermath of a messy flood in his condo posh studio, Jeremy Rizza is back with his weekly web comic "Viking Zombie Boyfriend".

Dill and Rorik ar your typical mid-western, bearish gay couple, with one tiny exception: Rorik is a 1,000-year-old undead viking zombie with lots of friends and acquaintances who also happen to be from European and Asian folklore. 

If it helps to suspend your disbelief, just remember there is a grain of truth at the heart of every myth. It's best not to over-think it.

When we last left Dill and Rorik, Dill was trying to get Rorik to admit that he is, in fact, friends with the annoyingly sweet Kagami, an ogre from Japanese folklore who copies everything Rorik does, from the way he dresses to his hobbies and other interests. 

As irritating as Rorik finds Kagami, he can't help but dig her for having so much in common with him.
